TAKURO's Web Interview Released — EXOFIRE Four-Member Feature Begins

On October 28, 2026, GLAY's official website published a web interview with TAKURO. This marks the first installment of a four-part series of member interviews ahead of the arena tour "GLAY ARENA TOUR 2026-2027 "EXOFIRE"", which opens in November.

Details

An announcement titled "TAKURO Web Interview Released!" appeared in the NEWS section of GLAY's official website, dated October 28, 2026. Ahead of "GLAY ARENA TOUR 2026-2027 "EXOFIRE"", which kicks off at Osaka-jo Hall on November 7 and runs across 22 performances at 11 venues nationwide, this is the first installment of a series delivering consecutive interviews with each of the four members, starting with leader TAKURO.

On October 21, the band's 18th album, 『旅する理由を待ちながら』, was released for the first time in about two years, and an official interview with TAKURO was also published around the same time. While this was a separate interview from the current EXOFIRE feature, both interviews ended up being released close together.

Playback!

The "EXOFIRE" tour was announced by TERU during the MC segment on the opening night of the hall tour "HIGHCOMMUNICATIONS TOUR 2026 "GLAY-complete BEST"", which began at Utsunomiya Bunka Kaikan on March 20, 2026. More than half a year has passed since then, and the tour's start is now approaching.

Ahead of the arena tour, "GLAY EXCLUSIVE LIVE 2026 "EXOFIRE" 〜THE BEGINNING〜" was held at SGC Hall in Tokyo on October 22 and 23, where details of some tour merchandise sales were also announced.

This format of running consecutive individual member web interviews has precedent. On August 23, 2024, as the first installment of a feature exploring every track on the album 『Back To The Pops』 through individual member interviews, TAKURO's interview was published. Going further back, on September 22, 2022, a web interview with TAKURO (Vol. 100) was also released ahead of "We♡Happy Swing Vol.3".
