Details

According to GLAY's official website, outdoor advertisements for the original album『旅する理由を待ちながら』, releasing on October 21, are being displayed at various locations across Tokyo. The display period runs from October 9 to November 28, and the site included a reminder to viewers: "Please be careful not to obstruct passersby when viewing the ads."

The Road to the Album

『旅する理由を待ちながら』is GLAY's first original album in about two years, following『Back To The Pops』released in October 2024. It is said to be a work born from GLAY's search for a new direction after completing their series of 30th debut anniversary activities, with the band reportedly crafting the songs in a way that recaptured the raw impulse of their early days.

The 15 tracks include "Dead Or Alive," the theme song for the anime『終末のワルキューレIII』; "NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN," the second-cour opening theme for『ダイヤのA actU -Second Season-』; their latest single「汚れた英雄」; and「悲願」, featuring Yuko Seo and Kazumasa Oda. Some of these songs were first performed at a special concert held at Kアリーナ横浜this past January, and have since been performed on the subsequent hall tour. The album will be released in three package formats, ranging from versions with accompanying video to audio-only editions, with the G-DIRECT limited edition including a Blu-ray.
