Details

On BAYFM78's 「TERU ME NIGHT GLAY」, airing Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 23:00 to 24:00, TERU will give commentary on all 15 tracks from the new album 「旅する理由を待ちながら」. According to the show's announcement, the commentary will be "super rushed," but it's expected to touch on the production story and listening points of each track.

The album 「旅する理由を待ちながら」 itself will also be released on that same day, October 21, 2026. In other words, this broadcast will be a special episode where the entire work is discussed on the very day of its release.

Parts of the new album have already been aired ahead of time on the show. In the October 7 broadcast, one track from the album was unveiled for the first time, and in the October 14 broadcast, 「Contact Sheet」 had its first on-air play. This full-track commentary episode follows that lead-up, bringing the whole album together in one session.

Terumi and Roughly 30 Years with GLAY

「TERU ME NIGHT GLAY」, commonly known as 「テルミー」 (Terumi), is TERU's own radio show that began in October 1996. Airing every Wednesday night at 11 PM, it has continued for roughly 30 years as of 2026.

「汚れた英雄」, included on the new album, was released on September 23, 2026 as GLAY's 64th single, and its track 「NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN」 had its first on-air play on the September 16 broadcast of Terumi. Tracks from this new album were also unveiled early on the October 7 and October 14 broadcasts respectively, continuing this autumn's pattern of new songs debuting on the show.
